Today, we celebrate Father’s Day and though it is not as ceremonious as Mother’s Day, it’s just as important. It’s the one day out of each year set aside to honor our fathers for everything they have done. Our fathers and mothers have both worked hard most of their lives in an effort to support our family by providing many of the things we have needed to enjoy life.
For many, Father’s Day is a time to surprise them with a special meal such as breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It may often be something simple as a backyard BBQ or picnic in the park. For some, surprising dad could even involve a party with family and friends. It really doesn’t matter what it is. But what does matter is the recognition for a lot of their sacrifice and hard work.
